Laboratory of machining
The machining is the basic method among the manufacturing techniques. It allows to efficiently shape
a geometry of the element with a precision of performance not achievable by other shaping techniques.
The laboratory is equipped with numerically controlled machines, including:
- Electrical discharge wire cutting machine, BP-97d type
- Electrical discharge hollowing machine, BP- 2000 type
- Lathe, SLT- 0400 type, Spectra CAM system
- Milling machine, SLM- 0200, Spectra CAM system
and with classical machines, like:
- Lathe claw: universal and industrial
- Tool grinder and surface grinder
- Tool milling machine
- Drilling machine
- Frame cutter and circular cutter
Dr Janusz Krawczyk Ph.D. Eng. From AGH University of Science & Technology in Kraków visited our Department.
Dr Aleksander Krupski Ph.D. Eng. From University of Warwick, UK visited LAPROMAW laboratory and presented a lecture entitled: "Growth morphology of thin films on the metallic and oxide surfaces".
